Welcome to the 2008 HENAAC Nomination Process. All of HENAAC's professional awards are based on the HENAAC nominations received each year. For the 20th HENAAC Professional Awards in 2008 all candidates must go through the paper-less HENAAC on-line nomination process due no later than June 6, 2008!
HENAAC winners represent the best in their field and it is not just HENAAC saying so. All HENAAC winners are judged by a Selection Committee that is comprised of professionals from industry, academia and the government. The Selection Committee is also chaired by the Dean of Engineering of the current Academic Host of the HENAAC Conference and all winners are finalized by the Dean. These two features add to the competitiveness and prestige of winning a HENAAC award. Individuals must be truly stellar in their field.
Nominating individuals can accomplish many things for an organization:
1. Helps identify rising stars
2. Shows employees their work is valued
3. Promotes the organization’s diversity efforts
4. Brings positive attention to the organization
5. Engages the organization’s Hispanic Employee Association
