HENAAC is proud to announce the 2009 Award Winners in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). For twenty-one years, HENAAC has recognized the achievements of America's best and brightest engineers and scientists within the Hispanic community. They were selected by the HENAAC Selection Committee which is comprised of representatives from industry, government, military and academic institutions. The Selection Committee convened in Long Beach, CA on July 17, 2009, and was co-chaired by Dr. Forouzan Golshani, Dean of the College of Engineering at California State University, Long Beach and Dr. H. Keith Moo-Young, Dean of the College of Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, California State University, Los Angeles. HENAAC is proud to have the California State University System serve as the Academic Host for the 2009 Conference.
The winners will be honored at the HENAAC Awards Show Gala on October 9, 2009 at the Long Beach Terrace Theater at 7:00 p.m. and throughout other events at the Long Beach Convention Center during the 21st Annual HENAAC Career Conference October 8-10, 2009.
