This reception pays tribute to all the sponsors that have supported the HENAAC Conference as Founding Sponsors in 1989 and also recognizes sponsors who have attended the conference for 15 or more years. This is the first event that will kick-off the HENAAC 20th Anniversary Conference.

Each sponsor of this event is entitled to 10 minutes of podium time, signage, placement of sponsor materials on tables, and table-top booth in the room. There will be a special 20th Anniversary presentation to Founders and sponsors with 15 or more years of participation. Hors d' oeuvres, fruit punch, no-host bars, and live music will also be at this event for 700 professional participants.

The Department of Defense and HENAAC celebrate STEM civilian and enlisted opportunities in the military for 300 high school students and their teachers from the Houston area. Military and government sponsors may participate in this program by participating in hands-on activities and seminar sessions for the high school students. Sponsors may also provide give-aways, material, or other items for the 300 high school student bags.

HENAAC and Department of Defense will celebrate the 5th year of honoring Hispanic Cadets in the military academies & ROTC, military Luminary recipients, and the high school Viva Technology winners. Over 600 attendees include high school students, teachers, military professionals, and Academy & ROTC cadets. HENAAC provides a set number of tickets to this event for all military sponsors. Additional tickets may be purchased by the military and other sponsors.

Each Student Welcome Center will be located in the same area as the student registration in the Hilton Grand Ballroom Pre-Function area of the Hilton Hotel. Pipe & Drape sections, tables, a banner and $4,000.00 worth of food and drinks will be ordered for your Student Welcome Center.

Hospitality Suite

The College Bowl is a multiple-day, high energy competition in which teams of 300 college students, are coached and judged by industry representatives; the focus is on showcasing their talents, initiative, teamwork and leadership skills. Sponsors receive logo placement on key College Bowl materials, banners and podium time during the welcome and closing events. Also, sponsors may provide materials and give-aways to the participating college students.

HENAAC Luminary Recognition Dinner

This special event is a sit-down dinner for 1,400+ conference participants. The focus of this dinner is to honor the industry Luminary recipients for 2008. Sponsor(s) of this event will have logo placement on the media screens and dinner program books, and the sponsor(s) may give a short address between 5 to 7 minutes. The HENAAC Board of Directors distributes all Luminary awards and the sponsor(s) of this event will be showcased via their logo and thanked from the podium. 20th Anniversary Networking Reception & Yearbook Unveiling

The HENAAC Networking Reception is a time for 1,400+ conference participants to mix and meet students from across the country. All registered HENAAC student participants receive HENAAC Networking cards to distribute to professionals who in- exchange give students raffle tickets for an opportunity to win valuable prizes. This year, in honor of the 20th Anniversary, HENAAC will also unveil the commemorative yearbook and showcase photos from the yearbook on large screens. The event will have a d.j., hors d'oeuvres, lemonade and no-host bars in the room.

This year HENAAC is combining two dynamic groups into one fabulous breakfast for 450 invitation-only participants. Winners, presenters and top sponsors will have the opportunity to meet and mingle prior to the Gala Awards Show later that evening.

20th Anniversary Awards Show Gala

This year's Awards Show will top all other past HENAAC Shows! The producers are planning on featuring up to three top celebrity masters of ceremonies, dynamic award winners and presenters, a live band, as well as special 20th Anniversary vignettes. The sponsor(s) of the Awards Show Gala will receive special coverage of this live-web cast show and will have the opportunity for a top executive to present an award or participate in a key vignette. Sponsor(s) will receive logo credit on screen, the web cast, printed program, tickets, and during the pre-reception which includes hors d' oeuvres and live music. Each Awards show sponsor may also meet with the Awards Show producer prior to July 2008 to discuss how to best show-case their organization during this historic celebration. HENAAC plans to bring a live band and DJ so both students and professionals can enjoy a wide range of music to dance to. Dessert stations and hosted soft drinks, juice and coffee will help keep the party festive.

The sponsor of this event will receive time to welcome guests from the stage and signage will feature the sponsor's logo. Placement of sponsor materials can be handed out or put on cocktail tables, and a table-top booth in the room can be accomodated. This program continues the pairing of professionals with students for the 3 days of the HENAAC Conference. Additional activities are hosted on Sunday and the sponsor of this event will have the opportunity to speak to the professionals and students about the importance of mentoring and can also assist in the closing activity designed especially for the HENAAC Protégé Mentor Program by Najera Consulting. Additionally the sponsor will receive banner recognition and have their logo placed on all HENAAC Protégé Mentor Program materials. Give-aways, and sponsor materials may also be distributed.

Student Leadership Luncheon

This special Luncheon closes out the 20th Anniversary conference and focuses on showcasing the accomplishments of all the student participants at the HENAAC Conference. Highlights of the luncheon include the top student Undergraduate and Graduate award winners speaking to their peers and receiving their scholarships; all Scholarship recipients are presented certificates and checks ; College Bowl 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winning teams are announced; and Seminar and other Raffle prize winners are also announced. Over 1,500 students and professionals are expected to attend the 2008 Student Leadership Luncheon.
