Army ROTC Scholarship's provide financial assistance for College for full tuition and mandatory education fees. Students can elect to receive room and board assistance up to $10,000 in lieu of full tuition and fees. They also receive $1200 annually for textbooks, classroom supplies and equipment. Students receive a tax free subsistence allowance for up to 10 months a year based on the Military Science and Leadership class they are enrolled in:
MSL 1 - 300/month
MSL 2 - 350/month
MSL 3 - 450/month
MSL 4 - 500/month
To be eligibile for an Army ROTC Scholarship, student's must have a Cumlative GPA of 2.5 or better (High School CGPA or College CGPA).
College Board Scores are required for all High School applicants with a minimum score of at least a 920 SAT or 19 ACT. Students requiring 4-years to complete their degree must be between the ages of 17 and 27 years old. Student's requiring 3-years to complete their degree must be between the ages of 17 and 28 years of age and students requiring 2-years to complete their degree must be between the ages of 17 and 29 years of age. All applicants will be required to take a DODMERB physical and must be fully qualified medically in order to contract and receive benefits. They will also be required to pass the Army Physical Fitness Test prior to contracting and receiving benefits. Any form of civil conviction or dependency will have to be explained.
